Sylvester Stallone Has Announced He Will Be Directing Creed 2 Movie

Sylvester Stallone

That being said, those hashtags could be telling us a different story, and it would be kind of insane for Stallone to do that at this point considering he just earned an Academy Award nomination for his last performance.

Sylvester Stallone has announced he will be directing the next Rocky film - Creed 2.

Talks about the potential for Creed 2 were being had as far back as January past year, with Jordan stating he believed that a sequel would need a real villain.

Stallone announced the news in an Instagram post featuring him and Jordan. "One more round!" Earlier this, Stallone announced that the sequel would begin shooting sometime in 2018.

Man nobody has ever heard of is the new leader of Ukip
Speaking at the UKIP conference in Torquay, he said: "Brexit is our core task however, it is not the end of the line". He has said he will have conversations with Ms Waters, Mr Farage and Mr Banks about their futures with the party.

Ryan Coogler directed the first "Creed". However, nobody could have foreseen Stallone himself directing the sequel, especially with how good a job Coogler did with the first film. He has quite a number of directorial credits including four films from the Rocky franchise the last being 2006's "Rocky Balboa".

When you think of Sylvester Stallone, you think of Rocky.

With the project still a few months away from the start of production, it's understandable that we don't know too much about Creed 2 just yet.

No director or release date has been confirmed for the long awaited "Creed 2", but more news to follow.
