Apple to hold event on September 12th

Apple has confirmed it will hold its next big conference on September 12 in Cupertino, California, where it is expected to reveal its new iPhone 8.

The meaning behind this invite is pretty clear: Apple is holding its first event at Steve Jobs Theater on its new campus.

With Apple celebrating the iPhone's 10th anniversary this year, fans should expect something pretty special to arrive next month. The new phone is rumored to not have a home button anymore, something that has been on every iPhone since the first. 3D facial recognition will scan the contours of the user's face and unlock.

Samsung's DJ Koh Confirms, a Smart Speaker is Coming
We are not sure if it will be Bixby speaker, but yeah, it should come integrated with Bixby to carry out the smart tasks. Support for other languages, devices, and third-party apps are expected to expand over time, Samsung added.

Although the launch event is slated for September, it may take a while for customers to get their hands on a new iPhone. The display's corners may also be curved instead of pointed, and, with an OLED panel, that would make the entire front a seamless-looking slate of black. As per various reports published over the past many weeks, the new iPhone boasts many new features and enhancements, and one of those features is that it is an all screen high-end device. With its $1 billion content initiative for 2018, Apple could announced forthcoming shows shot in 4K that will debut next year on either iTunes or Apple Music.

As is usually the case, the invite doesn't hint at what the event has in store, other than the different hues of the Apple logo. That date fell in line with expectations based on Apple's iPhone timeline, so it seemed like a pretty reasonable rumor. There is also likelihood of announcements around the Apple TV, iOS 11, tvOS, watchOS, and perhaps a word or two on the company's AR ambitions after the launch of ARKit. All of those updates have been in beta since the conference and are scheduled to be pushed out to the public this fall.
