Mark Ruffalo and Michael Moore Led a Protest Outside Trump Tower

Mark Ruffalo and Michael Moore led a Broadway audience from the theater directly to Trump Tower on Tuesday night for a candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the Charlottesville, Virginia violence.

It was a field trip full of objective.

Before his one-man show "The Terms of My Surrender" kicked off on Tuesday, Moore teased the impending bus trip on Twitter.

After President Donald Trump doubled down on his assertion that "both sides" were responsible for the deadly violence at a white supremacist march in Charlottesville on Saturday (Aug 12), scores of celebrities have taken to social media to excoriate his response. We reject white supremacy!

But when asked repeatedly whether this was an act of terror, Pres. Trump wouldn't clearly condemn it as such, saying: "You can call it terrorism". "It was very disconcerting".

Ousmane Dembele Offer Rejected by Borussia Dortmund
But Liverpool manager Klopp remains adamant the 25-year-old will stay at Anfield no matter what Barca are prepared to pay. Dortmund signed Dembele on a five-year deal from Rennes in May 2016.

"We're here today to commemorate a life of an American that was killed by a Nazi on American soil", Ruffalo said. "He's allowed these people, he's allowed facism, he's allowed the KKK, he's allowed Nazis to show their ugly face, and we're here to remind him there's a cost for that!" "And, if you want me to say it again I'll say it again".

Zoe Kazan, who stars in The Big Sick, joined the group, chanting, "We reject fascism!" Trump is not a legitimate president!

Moore also urged the white Americans who voted for Trump to "take a long hard look in the mirror".

Moore also addressed Trump's defense of the Charlottesville rally at the top of the show, when he usually discusses the latest headlines. For the sake of the soul of our country, we must come together to restore our national dignity that has been robbed by Donald Trump's presence in the White House. "I mean let's just, really, let's cut the BS and start speaking honestly". He closed the opening section with a joke: "When they finally indict him, when they finally arrest him, my only real question is, do they try him as an adult?"
