Missing woman survives after weeks in the woods

Girl Who Went Missing For A Month In Alabama Wilderness Found Alive

She finally managed to make it to the highway on Saturday.

"She [the female driver] called us and told us she had located the missing person".

Theris was reported missing on July 23.

Up until her discovery, the missing Theris had been feared dead.

Authorities have said Lisa was with two men the night she disappeared who planned to rob a hunting lodge.

WSFA reports that it all started when Theris said she was with two men who burglarized a hunting camp on July 17.

Officials say she had no idea the men meant to commit a robbery, and not wanting to be an accessory to a crime, the 25-year-old radiology student ran away from the men into the nearby woods.

The circumstances surrounding Lisa's disappearance are still shrouded in some mystery, with police saying they're waiting until Lisa's had some time to recover before they question her too strenuously.

Theris was lost in the thousands of acres that comprise the Alabama backwoods without so much as a pair of shoes or any type of weapon.

Taylor Swift Expected to Testify in Groping Case Against Former Radio DJ
Mueller also accused his boss, Eddie Haskell, of being the one who had touched the singer inappropriately. The jury selection for Taylor Swift v. former DJ David Mueller begins today.

Theris, from the town of Louisville, told authorities she survived by eating berries and mushrooms, and by drinking water out of a brook.

She tried to find her way out but, deprived of food and water, she kept turning around in circles. Police officials said the college student is alive and well, and that is the most important thing right now. They have not been charged in connection with her disappearance, according to AL.com, an Alabama news outlet. "We want to make sure her health is good so we got her on to the hospital".

"We're giving her some time to let her body adjust back to normal", Williams said. "So when I got word she was found alive, my whole world flipped upside down again".

"I've been doing this now going on 15 years and I've never seen anything like it", Chad Faulkner, of the Bullock county sheriff's office, told local news site WSFA. "Her will to live was strong, when you have a will to live and survive".

'I hate to classify it as a mircale but it's a miracle'.

An Alabama woman was found alive after going missing in the wilderness for a month.

"She is severely weakened, she is in pain, she is emaciated", Theris' sister Elizabeth said. 'There is not an inch of her that has not been affected.' .

Theris' brother, Will Theris, shared a photo of his sister on Facebook Sunday.

"She had been out lost in the woods", he said. "My baby's alive", said Theris. "When you have a will to live and survive, it's a miracle". She finally stumbled across a road at the edge of woodland in Midland, Alabama and was picked up by a passing motorist.
