3 dead as police hunt for active shooter who ran off into woods

Police launched a search Wednesday for a Florida man who they believe shot and killed three relatives, including the ex-wife who claimed he had stalked and harassed her.

Kenneth Dion Lever, 51, is considered armed and unsafe.

Court records in York County, Pennsylvania, show 52-year-old Kenneth Dion Lever of Santa Rosa County, Florida, is scheduled to go on trial there on September 11.

Police said Lever is "armed and dangerous", and asked anyone who sees him not to approach and inform the police.

The identities of the three murder victims have not yet been released, but police have confirmed that all were adults.

According to that PFA request and other public records, Lever has charges pending in Pennsylvania for sexual abuse with a minor.

Police issued this statement just before 9:30 a.m.: "Gardendale Police Department is working an active shooter situation at Glenn Chapel Rd. and Willow Bend Dr".

10 injured after taxi crashes through pedestrians in Boston
Massachusetts State Police say a crash that injured 10 pedestrians near Boston's airport does not appear to be an intentional act. The 7News channel, citing police sources, reports that the incident was not terror related but was "a case of operator error".

Similar to the first instance, the victim told police that Lever forced her to watch porn and re-enact the acts. His rap sheet also boasts a series of assault, harrassment and robbery charges, according to court documents.

Lever was placed in York County Prison on October 12, 2015, on the first case on a $100,000 bond, but was able to get bailed out.

AL.com reported that Dana claimed her ex-husband was abusing her daughter during unsupervised visits. The girl had been seeing a therapist, who reached out to the mother with some concerns.

'My daughter has a different disposition when she returns home, ' the woman wrote in the complaint. She wants to sleep in my bed and she wants to sleep with the lights on.' . Dana Lever's Facebook shows that she is originally from the Birmingham area. They say he could be headed to the Florida Panhandle.

In addition to that, his profile says that he studied at Marion Military Institute in Marion, Alabama.

As far as employment goes, his Facebook says he is a former employee at Hewlett-Packard and a consultant at HDS in Pace, Florida beginning in 2007.
