Venus reacts to fatal crash: 'I am devastated and heartbroken'

The family of Jerome Barson filed a wrongful death lawsuit the day after news became public of the fatal crash.

Williams, 37, was crossing a junction in her Florida home town on June 9 when her vehicle collided with a auto being driven by Linda Barson, according to police.

The deceased, who was left with a fractured spine and numerous internal injuries after the incident, died on June 22.

Barson passed away on his wife's birthday. It resulted in the death of a 78-year-old Jerome Barson. Linda also received a broken her right wrist, hand and several fingers.
