The 25-year-old federal contractor was arrested Saturday and stands charged with leaking classified information to a media outlet. It's the same charge victor was accused of when the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested her Saturday at her home in Augusta, Georgia.

If convicted, victor could face up to 10 years in prison.

The indictment alleges that victor, a former Air Force linguist, leaked the confidential information in May 2017 while employed at private contractor Pluribus International.

In the process, the intelligence agency noticed that the reports "appeared to be folded and/or creased, suggesting they had been printed and hand-carried out of a secured space", according to the official legal complaint.

Before she was charged with leaking US government secrets, Reality Leigh Winner shared sometimes scathing opinions on President Donald Trump and his policies for the whole world to see.

Channel 2's Nicole Carr was invited into Winner's home by her parents to see the interrogation room.

Solari cautioned that prosecutors were not trying to link victor to terrorism. They would pledge their home and the 20 acres of land they own as security for Winner's bond.

The Justice Department announced the case against victor about an hour after the Intercept published the document, a May 5 intelligence report from the NSA. "And she felt like she needed to give them what they were asking for at the time", Winner-Davis said.
