Melissa McCarthy adds spice (and Spicer) as host of 'SNL'

She then proceeds to berate reporters asking about Trump's decision to fire Comey and whether it was related to the FBI's investigation into possible collusion between his campaign associates and Russian Federation.

SNL cast member Aidy Bryant, portraying Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, was telling the press that Spicer, who is an officer with the Naval Reserves, was on duty. So, with Melissa as this week's host, we knew Saturday Night Live would be good - and it did not disappoint. "Because he told us so, period".

Spicer then cranked up his motorized podium and hit the road in NY to confront Trump and find out if the president has, in fact, been feeding him lies. The sketch ended with a surprise second cameo by Alec Baldwin and a shocking embrace.

Instead, he gets the "Godfather II" Fredo kiss, i.e. the kiss of death, despite Spicer's protestations that "I'm married!"

"Yes", Baldwin's Trump responded before going in for long, deep kiss.

Hamas Says Ismail Haniyeh Chosen as Islamic Group's Leader
It also says its struggle is not against Jews due to their religion but against the Zionist entity as an occupier. Hamas captured the coastal strip by violently overthrowing forces loyal to the Fatah movement, led by Abbas.

While I didn't love the skit's treatment of mental health (The "he's crazy" jokes aren't amusing!), I'll never get exhausted of McCarthy's awesome physical comedy. I'd be very happy to see Trump go, but McCarthy's Spicer offers some much-needed comedic relief right now.

So when Spicer, like everyone else, saw clips surfacing Friday morning of Melissa McCarthy dressed as him driving around New York City on a motorized podium (made by a Montgomery county company), he probably knew to avoid watching Saturday Night Live this week. Following this week's firing of FBI Director Jim Comey, Baldwin sat down with Michael Che as Lester Holt to spoof the President's interview on NBC News.

But the questioning eventually leads him on a journey to the streets of NY, then a golf course in New Jersey, to ask Trump once and for all, what his future at the White House looked like. Remember, in Donald's Trump's mind, when you're famous, they let you do it. In fact the possibility Spicer may soon be hearing the words "You're Fired!" from Trump was a big part of "SNL's" sketch last night.

Of course, the show didn't waste the opportunity to also invite back McCarthy's scene-stealing impersonation of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer, depicted as the fraught, yelling, podium-grabbing buffoon that we all basically conceive him to be. Was Spicer's job really in jeopardy?
