Instagram will soon work offline on your Android phone

Instagram

Facebook announced at its F8 developer conference that the Android version of Instagram is getting offline functionality. Once a connection is re-established, the app will simply sync up all of this data. This mode will allow Instagram to grow its user base, especially in countries where data is hard to come by, specifically in developing countries in Asia, Africa, South America, etc. Or you know, maybe you'll go camping one day and need to get in some fresh, fresh likes.

Additionally, users can view any posts previously loaded in their Instagram feed. However, you will be able to view all activities that took place on your Instagram field as soon as you reconnect. As per the reports, 600 million users are outside of the United States so that company mainly targeted the users with limited connectivity. Facebook is reportedly exploring the possibility of offline mode for Instagram on the iPhone, but they haven't confirmed whether the feature will ever roll out. So, for example, you could like a photo and leave a comment on it, put the phone back in your pocket, and both interactions will be applied to the photo once the phone picks up a data signal again.
